Traits Tier List

Traits are the rerollable line on a unit card. They are also the easiest way to waste UPDATE2. This list ranks what the passive does, not the fantasy name More & More Games slapped on it this week. If a patch renames a trait, keep using the category. For how rerolls overwrite, read traits and mutations. For who is allowed to receive a reroll, read the unit tier list.

Trait Rerolls come from codes. They do not come back after a misclick. Stop at “good enough.”

S — cash multipliers and pad auras

Passives that raise this unit’s $ or the $ of nearby pads. If the text mentions income, coins, cash, generation, or a radius, it is S. These traits turn an A-rarity unit into a plot engine. Do not reroll them hoping for a cooler word.

If two S traits exist and you already have one, keep it. The second S is a luxury for a second keeper, not a reason to gamble the first.

A — luck, rare rate, mutation chance

Passives that make future rolls better. They are slightly worse than cash on a unit that already sits on your best pad, and slightly better than cash if you are still hunting your first mutation. Early plot: A can outrank S for one unit. Late plot: park A on a bench unit if you own a cash S main.

These traits pair with dice upgrades and lucky spins. They do not replace nodes or spins.

B — Grade efficiency, gem discounts, offline bonuses

Helpful, not exciting. Keep on a keeper if you are Gem-starved. Reroll on a keeper if you already finished Grade and you still have a large reroll stack. Never reroll a B on a mutation unless you have a spare copy. Offline bonuses look small until you actually log off with full pads — see how to make money.

C — flavour, movement, “combat”

Anime Dice has no lane combat. A trait that talks like a battler is usually C. Movement speed on your avatar is C. Cosmetic auras that do not mention cash are C. Reroll these on S/A units. Leave them on Commons; those Commons should be replaced, not polished.

F — blank, broken, or anti-cash

If the trait line is empty, says it reduces generation, or clearly conflicts with idle income, reroll immediately on a keeper. On a Common, just sell the Common.

Mutation exception

A mutated unit with a B trait can still out-earn a base rare with an S trait. Mutation is a layer, not a trait. Do not “fix” a mutated B into a C by fishing. The traits and mutations stacking order is rarity × Grade × trait × mutation × pad. Protect the mutation first.

Session rules

  1. Identify keepers with the unit tier list.
  2. If the trait is S or A, stop.
  3. If the trait is C or F and the unit is a keeper, spend one reroll.
  4. If the new trait is B or better, stop again.
  5. Leave at least one reroll in the bank for the next mutation.

If you burn the whole UPDATE2 stack on a mid unit, you will meet your first mutation with empty pockets. That is the only “wrong build” in this game.

  • Rarity value — why you do not S-tier a Common with an S trait.
  • Grades — Grade can outrun a mediocre trait; finish it before you mill.
  • Code rewards — how many rerolls the live strings actually give.

Trait names will drift. Categories will not. Rank the math.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What is the best trait in Anime Dice?

A cash multiplier or pad aura. Luck-facing traits are close seconds while you still hunt rares.

Should I reroll a B-tier trait on a mutated unit?

Usually no. Mutation is rarer than a better adjective. Read traits and mutations.

Do combat-sounding traits help?

Almost never. This is an idle plot. Combat flavour is C-tier unless the text also mentions cash.

Where do I get more Trait Rerolls?

Live codes and future Discord strings on official links.
