Anime Dice Update 1

The first numbered patch after launch — still relevant because UPDATE1 keeps redeeming.

Update 1 Notes

Update 1 was the first numbered patch after the 15 August 2026 launch. You are probably on Update 2 now. Read this page anyway if you have not redeemed UPDATE1, if you are reconstructing the timeline, or if a friend is still on a stale server. Parent hub: updates. Launch context: release notes.

The public gift from this patch is the UPDATE1 code: typically 2 Lucky Spins, 3 Trait Rerolls, 3 Gems. It was still listed as live on 3 September 2026, even after Update 2 shipped. That overlap is normal for a young experience and it will not last forever. Redeem it from Shop → Codes. Steps: how to redeem. Full table: codes hub.

Why Update 1 still matters on an Update 2 client

Numbered codes are a history you can still cash. UPDATE1 is not a souvenir; it is eight scarce currencies if you never claimed it. Spend them with the same policy as UPDATE2: luck node, then spins, then Grade the keeper. Code rewards and upgrade priority are the spend maps.

Mechanically, Update 1 is the moment the game started behaving like a live service instead of a launch build: a second code, a second Index injection, a reason to reopen Shop. If your plot was built entirely on RELEASE, Update 1 is when Trait Rerolls and Gems became a stack instead of a taste.

What we know versus what we will not fake

Public patch notes for Update 1 are thinner than the code list. We will not invent unit names or percentage buffs. We know:

  • The code exists and still redeemed at the time of writing.
  • The experience continued to use the same HUD grammar (Shop, Rebirth, Index).
  • Offline cash, dice luck, and mutations remained the advertised loop.

If you remember a specific Index family arriving with Update 1, stamp it and keep it only if the unit tier list agrees. Memory is not a rarity tag.

Migration notes for late players

If you joined during Update 2 and skipped this page, redeem UPDATE1 today. Late players get the same string. Rebirth does not restock it. Alts each get their own claim — codes checklist.

If UPDATE1 fails with a clean “already redeemed,” you are done. If it fails with an expired message, this page will be updated and the codes hub will move the row. Try a new server first; stale servers are still the top false expired.

By this patch you should already understand pads (how to play), dice luck (dice upgrades), and the fact that codes do not spawn a named unit. If any of that is news, you joined late and should run getting started before you mill Trait Rerolls.

Update 1 is a stepping stone. Claim the stone. Play on Update 2.

If you kept a screenshot of the Update 1 banner, it is only useful as proof you were there. The spend rules did not invert. Pads still beat empty prestige. Gems still want one keeper. Trait Rerolls still overwrite. Send that screenshot to Discord if you like; send your remaining UPDATE1 claim to Shop first. Then open getting started only if the HUD still feels like launch week.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is the UPDATE1 code still working?

It was still listed as active on 3 September 2026. Redeem it now on the codes hub before a later patch kills it.

Do I need Update 1 before Update 2?

No. The live client is Update 2. UPDATE1 is just another promo string you should still claim.

What does UPDATE1 give?

Typically 2 Lucky Spins, 3 Trait Rerolls, and 3 Gems. Spend them using code rewards.

Where are Update 1 patch notes?

Mostly Discord. We do not invent percentages. Official rooms are linked from official links.
