Index and Collection

The Index is the book button at the bottom of the left stack, under Rebirth. It is a collection log of anime-inspired units you have revealed. It is not a second plot, not a code box, and not a rebirth shop. This page tells you when to open it and when to ignore it. HUD context: how to play.

More & More Games wants you to collect rare characters and mutations. Index is that checklist. Rewards for filling rows — extra currency, luck crumbs, or cosmetics — are a long-run bonus. They lose to pad coverage every time the two conflict.

How to use the book

  1. After a Lucky Spin burst or a long roll session, open Index.
  2. Confirm new faces stamped. If a mutated variant has its own row, that is a second stamp; do not sell the mutation before the stamp lands.
  3. Note holes only if you are already rich in Gems and luck. Holes are not first-hour content.
  4. Close the book and return to pads.

If a unit does not stamp, place it, wait a second, reopen. Some incrementals register collection on place, not on roll. Do not vendor a new rare in that window.

Index versus pads

Index wants uniques. Pads want multipliers. You can stamp a Common and immediately replace it. You should not keep twenty uniques on twenty pads if ten of them are dead traits and empty Grades. Run the unit tier list for pads and let Index be a stamp album.

Chasing a missing Index row with Trait Rerolls is backwards. Rerolls do not create new faces. Lucky Spins and dice luck create new faces. Use lucky spins and dice upgrades.

Mutations in the Index

Mutations may appear as extra entries. That makes them twice as valuable: income layer plus stamp. Protect them with the rules on traits and mutations. If Update 2 merged mutation rows into the base unit, the mutation is still worth keeping for cash even if the book does not give a second stamp.

Rebirth and the book

Index is usually account-wide. Your first prestige is the experiment: open the book after rebirth and see if stamps remain. If they remain, you can prestige more aggressively. If they reset, Index becomes a reason to delay prestige until a milestone row pays out. Do not guess — look.

Codes cannot fill Index

UPDATE2 will not check off a row. It gives you spins that might roll a new face. Redeem anyway (codes), because luck is how the book fills. Discord exclusives on official links are the same idea.

When Index is worth a dedicated session

  • You already have a Graded main.
  • Pads are full of A/B units.
  • You are waiting on a rebirth gate that asks for “own X unique units.”
  • A patch added a new family and the book is the only way to see the names. Check Update 2.

Until then, treat Index as a menu you open after bursts, not a game mode. Leaderboards do not rank your stamp count. They rank the plot. Build the plot with best units and grades. Let the book cheer from the sideline.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Where is the Anime Dice Index?

Left stack, bottom icon (book), under Rebirth. It is a collection log, not the Shop.

Should I keep every unique unit on my plot?

Stamp them, then replace weak ones. Pads follow the unit tier list, not the stamp album.

Why did a new unit not appear in the Index?

Try placing it first, then reopen. Do not sell a new rare until the stamp lands.

Does Index reset on rebirth?

Usually not, but confirm after your first prestige using the rebirth guide.
