How to Make Money Fast

Cash is the only engine in Anime Dice. Lucky Spins, traits, mutations, and rebirth all exist to make the $ in the corner climb faster. This guide is the money tree: what prints, what leaks, and what only looks rich. If your HUD still needs labels, read how to play first. If you have not redeemed UPDATE2 yet, do that on the codes hub before you optimize anything.

The official description is not flavour text: money generates while you are offline. That single sentence decides the first rule. A full plot of mediocre units beats a single ultra-rare on an otherwise empty floor, because eight pads work through the night and one pad does not.

Rule 1: zero empty pads

Place Commons. Place dupes. Place the unit you hate. Replace them later. Every empty pedestal is a zero in the offline formula. New players hold a rare in the cursor “until they unlock a better pad” and then log off with three holes. That is the slowest version of the game.

When a better unit lands, swap it onto the pad that already seemed to tick harder. Layout multipliers, if your plot has them, belong to keepers from the best units page — not to the first Common that spawned there.

Rule 2: Grade the keeper, level less junk

Unit levels cost cash and raise that unit’s output. Grade (paid with Gems, often from codes) multiplies output more honestly on a unit you will still have after the next luck spike. Dumping cash into a Common’s level cap is a trap because that Common is about to be sold. Put Gems on one keeper as described in grades. Put leftover cash into dice upgrades so the next roll is better, which is also money — just delayed by one cycle.

Rule 3: luck is income

A luck node that raises rare rate is a money upgrade. It does not look like a money upgrade because the $ does not jump this second. Ten minutes later, when a mutated unit sits on a pad, the graph bends. That is why the upgrade priority tool ranks cheap luck above vanity levels.

Lucky Spins from codes are the burst version of the same idea. Spend them after luck nodes, in a streak, as the lucky spins guide argues. A boosted roll on a full plot can replace four Commons in one session. A boosted roll on an empty plot gives you a pretty unit and nowhere to put it.

Rule 4: traits that pay versus traits that pose

Some traits raise cash, luck on nearby rolls, or Grade efficiency. Some traits are combat fantasy on a game with no combat. Reroll the second category on keepers only. The traits tier list is the filter. Overwriting a mutation’s only good trait is how you set your own income on fire; see traits and mutations.

Rule 5: rebirth is a money skill

Rebirth feels like throwing cash away. It is supposed to. You trade a bloated, expensive upgrade tree for a permanent multiplier and a cleaner dice path. Do it when the next dice node costs more than a short new run would earn with the multiplier. Do not do it because the button is glowing. Walkthrough: rebirth.

After rebirth, refill pads immediately — even with junk — so offline income restarts. Then spend the currencies you still have (Lucky Spins and Gems persist; redeemed codes do not refresh).

What does not make money

  • Standing in the middle of the plot waiting for a 1-in-9,342,584 screenshot moment.
  • Buying random Shop cosmetics before luck nodes.
  • Running unverified auto-collect tools. If you were about to, read script safety.
  • Treating Index completion as a first-day cash strategy. Index is a long bonus on index and collection.

A simple cash session

  1. Claim any new code from the codes hub.
  2. Fill holes.
  3. Buy one luck-facing dice node if it is cheap.
  4. Burst Lucky Spins if you have them.
  5. Swap keepers onto strong pads.
  6. Grade the main unit if Gems are waiting.
  7. Log off on a full plot.

That session beats a two-hour click marathon on a half-empty floor. When you want to know who deserves the strong pad, open the unit tier list rather than guessing from anime memory.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How do I earn cash while offline in Anime Dice?

Place units on every pedestal before you leave. Empty pads earn nothing. Details in this guide and in getting started.

Should I upgrade every unit?

No. Level only keepers. Put Gems into Grade on one main unit — see grades.

Is rarity the only thing that makes money?

Rarity sets the ceiling. Grade, traits, pad coverage, and dice luck decide whether you reach it. Use the tier list plus this page together.

When does rebirth increase income?

When the permanent multiplier outruns your current upgrade prices. Follow the rebirth guide instead of resetting on cooldown.
