Anime Dice How to Use Lucky Spins
Burst boosted rolls after a luck node — not on an empty plot with default dice.
Lucky Spins are the most misunderstood code reward in Anime Dice. They look like a second gacha. They are not. They are a temporary weight on the same die you already upgrade with cash. Use them well and UPDATE2 feels generous. Use them on a naked plot and they feel like three extra Commons. This page is the timing guide. Reward sizes sit on code rewards. Dice nodes sit on dice upgrades.
The right-side clover Lucky badge is related in theme and unrelated in UI. It does not redeem promo strings. Promo strings still live in Shop, documented on how to redeem.
What a Lucky Spin does
When you consume a Lucky Spin, the next roll (or a short burst of rolls, depending on how Update 2 implemented the buff) draws from a friendlier rarity table. It does not lock a named unit. It does not skip the place-on-pad step. A boosted hollow-style or cyan-aura caster still needs a pedestal to print cash.
Because the buff is short, streaking beats dripping. Three spins in one minute keep you inside the boosted table while pads are free. One spin now and one tomorrow guarantees you forget which pad is empty.
Timing checklist
Do this before you touch the spin count:
- Redeem live codes so the count is honest (codes hub).
- Fill every pad with something so a hit can replace a weak unit instead of sitting in the cursor.
- Buy the cheapest luck-facing dice node you can afford.
- Burst the spins.
- Immediately Grade and, if needed, Trait Reroll the best hit. Guides: grades, traits and mutations.
Skip step 3 only if the next node is gated on a rebirth you are about to take. In that case, rebirth first, buy the new cheap node, then spin. See rebirth.
Lucky Spins versus the clover widget
Shop and the right HUD will try to sell extra luck. That is optional. Lucky Spins from UPDATE2 / UPDATE1 / RELEASE are the free version of the same idea. Do not buy a Robux luck pack because you already wasted free spins on default dice — just wait for the next code and do the checklist.
If a paid luck event is actually live (server-wide luck, timed clover), stack your remaining spins inside that window. Stacking free buff + paid/event buff is the only time “wait three minutes” beats “spin now.”
What to keep from a boosted burst
Keep:
- Anything mutated.
- Anything clearly above your worst pad’s rarity.
- Anything the tier list would park on a strong tile even as a base form.
Place the rest anyway if you still have holes. Holes are still the enemy in how to make money. After the plot is full, sell or replace the worst faces. Do not Trait Reroll them.
How many spins the live codes give
Typical public grants as of 3 September 2026:
- UPDATE2 — 3 Lucky Spins
- UPDATE1 — 2 Lucky Spins
- RELEASE — 1 Lucky Spin
That is six boosted rolls on a fresh account, not a campaign. Play them like six arrows, not like an infinite mill. Alts get the same six; use the codes checklist so you do not forget RELEASE on account two.
Dry streaks are normal
Six boosted rolls can still miss the 1-in-9,342,584 banner. That number is the fantasy ceiling, not a pity counter. If the burst “failed,” you still got information: your luck nodes are too low, or you need a mutation-facing upgrade, or you need to rebirth into a better tree. You did not get scammed by the die. Open getting started if the plot around those rolls is still messy — messy plots make every miss hurt twice.
Lucky Spins are a timing skill. Once the timing is boring, you are doing it right.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
When should I use Lucky Spins in Anime Dice?
After pads are full and you bought a cheap luck node. Burst them. Do not drip one per hour.
Are Lucky Spins the same as the Lucky clover?
No. Spins are a currency from codes. The clover is a separate luck widget on the right HUD.
Do Lucky Spins guarantee a rare unit?
No. They tilt the table. The 1-in-9 million banner is still a banner. Keep mutated and high-rarity hits; place the rest.
Should I save Lucky Spins for rebirth?
Saving a few for the rebuild is smart if a rebirth is imminent. Do not sit on all six for days. See rebirth.
