Anime Dice Tier List

Who deserves a strong pad after Update 2 — ranked by income layers, not fandom.

Tier List Hub

Anime Dice does not ship a stable named roster you can scrape like a MOBA. Units are anime-inspired faces that shuffle as More & More Games patches the pool. A useful tier list therefore ranks layers, then archetypes, then “keep versus sell” rules. If you came here looking for a fake S-tier of licensed names, you will not get one. You will get a list that still works next week. For named collection tracking, use index and collection. For “who is my main right now,” use best units.

Criteria: cash per pad after Grade and traits, not screenshot coolness. The official art loves a pale armored hollow-style body and a white-haired cyan caster. Those are high-spectacle rares. They are S-tier only if mutation, Grade, and trait agree.

S — mutated high rarity on a finished Grade

The pad should look unfair. Mutation multiplier plus a cash-facing trait plus Grade from Gems is the stack described in traits and mutations. If you own one of these, it sits on the strongest tile, eats leftover Trait Rerolls only when the current trait is dead, and never gets sold to “make room for a prettier base rare.”

A — high rarity keepers, even without mutation

These are your UPDATE2 Lucky Spin successes. They replace Commons immediately. They get Gems before anyone else if you do not own an S unit. They are the units grades is written for. If two A units drop, Grade one fully rather than splitting Gems.

B — mid rarity with a cash trait or early mutation

B-tier pays the rent while you hunt A. Put them on leftover pads. Do not dump the whole Trait Reroll stack here. One reroll to drop a blank trait is fine. Six rerolls is how you arrive at your first actual rare with zero currencies left. See the traits tier list.

C — Commons and dupes that fill holes

C-tier is not “bad.” C-tier is coverage. The money guide will keep yelling until every pad has a body. C units log off with you and print overnight. They get replaced the moment an A or B lands. They get zero Gems and zero rerolls.

F — empty pads and cursor units

Not a rarity. A mistake. An empty pedestal is worse than a Common. A rare stuck on the cursor while you admire it is also F until it is placed.

Archetypes from official screenshots

Until the Index publishes a frozen list, use visual families:

  • Armored hollow-style tanks — high presence, often the banner energy of the 1-in-9,342,584 art. Keep if rarity is high; do not keep a Common just because the silhouette matches.
  • White-haired cyan casters — same rule. Aura is not a trait. Check the actual trait panel.
  • Small gag / chibi fillers — usually C unless the rarity tag says otherwise.
  • Mutated recolors of any family — jump at least one tier.

When Update 2 or a later patch injects a new family, they start at B until we see cash numbers. Patch notes: Update 2.

How to use this list in a session

  1. Sort your pads by the layers above, not by which anime you like.
  2. Move S/A to any tile that ticks faster.
  3. Spend Gems top-down.
  4. Spend Trait Rerolls only at S/A.
  5. If nothing on the board is A or better, stop decorating and go roll with lucky spins after a dice upgrade.
  • Traits tier list — which passives deserve rerolls.
  • Rarity value — why the banner number is a ceiling, not a quest.
  • Best units — how to pick a main when two A-tier faces arrive at once.

A tier list that pretends it knows next week’s Index is lying. This one will still be true after the next Discord code.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Who is S-tier in Anime Dice right now?

Mutated high-rarity units with a cash trait and finished Grade. Named faces change each patch; the stack does not.

Should I keep a Common that looks like the banner unit?

No. Silhouette is not rarity. Place it as C-tier coverage until a real A-tier lands.

Where do traits fit in the unit tier list?

Traits move a unit inside its rarity band. Rank passives on the traits tier list.

Is this list for PvP?

Anime Dice ranks plot cash, not combat. Leaderboards are income flex. Play the money guide if pads are empty.
