When to Rebirth in Anime Dice

Reset a stalling plot for a multiplier — without throwing away a run that is still snowballing.

Rebirth Guide

The Rebirth button is the middle icon on the left stack, under Shop and above Index. It is a prestige, not a shop. Tapping it because you want more codes will do nothing useful: UPDATE2 is bound to the Roblox account, not to the plot. This guide is when the reset is the correct money play. Pair it with how to make money and upgrade priority.

Anime Dice is an incremental simulator. Rebirth exists because dice nodes and unit levels eventually cost more than they return. The prestige sells you a permanent bump (extra pads, luck, or cash multiplier — the exact package can shift per numbered update) in exchange for a shorter, faster rerun.

What you should expect to lose

Treat cash and many dice purchases as reset. Treat placed Commons as reset. That sting is the fee. If Update 2 currently keeps a currency, you will see it still sitting in the HUD after the animation; do not assume Gems or Lucky Spins vanish without looking. Codes you already redeemed stay redeemed either way — see code rewards.

Index progress is collection memory. It usually survives prestige because it is an account log, but confirm on index and collection after your first rebirth so you are not surprised by a patch.

What you should expect to keep

  • Knowledge of the HUD. You already know Shop versus Rebirth versus Index from how to play.
  • Unspent Lucky Spins, Trait Rerolls, and Gems in most incremental designs — verify on your client.
  • The prestige multiplier itself, which is the entire point.
  • Discord codes you have not redeemed yet. Go get them from official links before you rebuild.

When rebirth is correct

Rebirth when all of these are true:

  1. Every pad is full. You already captured offline income.
  2. You have at least one keeper (rare, mutated, or high Grade) so the run actually taught the gacha table.
  3. The next dice upgrade feels insulting compared with ten minutes of a multiplied new run.
  4. You are not in the middle of a Lucky Spin burst. Finish the burst, park the units, then prestige.

Skip rebirth when:

  • You spawned ten minutes ago and the button looks shiny.
  • Pads are empty because you were “saving space.”
  • You still have unspent UPDATE2 rewards and no keeper to spend them on. Spend first.
  • You are about to log off. Fill pads and leave; prestige at the start of the next session so you can rebuild immediately.

The rebuild (the part people skip)

A rebirth that is not followed by a rebuild is just deleting money. Do this in order:

  1. Place junk on every pad. Offline income must restart before you min-max.
  2. Buy the cheapest luck-facing dice node the new tree offers.
  3. Burst leftover Lucky Spins.
  4. Grade the new keeper if Gems remain.
  5. Only then Trait Reroll.

That is the same first-hour loop as getting started, just shorter because the multiplier is on.

Requirements and “I cannot press it”

Some incrementals gate rebirth on cash totals or on owning a specific rarity. If the button is grey, read the tooltip instead of grinding random Shop tabs. Update 2 may add extra gates; check Update 2 and launch notes so you know whether your client is asking for a unit you have not rolled yet.

Do not buy a script that claims to bypass rebirth gates. That is how accounts vanish. Script safety exists for that search.

Rebirth versus Robux skips

Shop will happily sell speed. Rebirth is the free speed. If you pay, you are buying time, not a different endgame. The unit tier list still decides who sits on the multiplied pads.

When in doubt, wait one more luck node. A rebirth five minutes too late costs almost nothing. A rebirth twenty minutes too early costs a keeper you had not Graded. Patience is a multiplier too.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Does rebirth give me the codes again?

No. UPDATE2, UPDATE1, and RELEASE are one-time per account. Redeem them from the codes hub before or after, not instead of prestige.

When should I rebirth in Anime Dice?

When pads are full, you own a keeper, and the next dice node is overpriced. The rebuild steps on this page matter more than the button.

Will I lose my Index after rebirth?

Index is usually account-wide, but confirm after your first prestige on index and collection.

Where is the Rebirth button?

Left stack, middle icon (loop arrows), under Shop. HUD map: how to play.
